Shipping Policy:
We strive to provide you with the most efficient shipping options suitable for the products you purchase. We take great care with the shipping and packaging of your order, however we are unable to take responsibility for heat affected products in remote destinations.
We are unable to ship orders to P.O. Boxes and recommend having the order shipped to a location where you will be able to receive the order once it arrives.
Damaged/Broken Items:
If a product arrives to you unreasonably damaged, we will offer you an exchange of the item or store credit in the value of the damaged item.
Our macarons are very delicate creations. We pack our Mailable Macarons in a custom plastic blister tray insert which is then fitted within a solid gift box. This packaging will reduce breakage and exposure to heat and humidity, however, please be aware that slight breakage may occur during transportation.
Shipping Methods:
We use Australia Post to ship all of our products. Once an order is received, the item is shipped from our head office in Richmond (3121, Victoria) within 1–2 business days.
Our Mariage Frères tea items can be shipped by Australia Post’s Regular or Express shipping service. Insurance from Australia Post can be purchased for larger items such as our gift sets or teapots by contacting our head office.
Our Chocolate Dragées and Mailable Macarons must be shipped using Express Post. It is advisable to check whether your postcode falls within the Express Post National Network before ordering.
Please note:
- In the event that the parcel cannot be delivered, a card will be left by Australia Post with details on how pick-up can be arranged
- We only ship food items between Monday to Thursday morning
- A tracking number will be provided to you via email notification. The order can be tracked through Australia Post’s website: http://auspost.com.au/track/track.html. Please note, we are unable to lodge enquiries with Australia Post unless the delivery has not arrived within the expected time-frame.
Weather Conditions
In the case of warm or extreme weather, the shipping of food items may be delayed. If this is the case, someone from our head office will contact you to advise you of the earliest shipping date. In warmer months, we are unable to ship food items to remote locations.
Product Information:
Our Chocolate Dragées products are all labelled with a Best Before date. They should be stored in a cool (preferably between 12 degrees to 18 degrees) and dry environment.
While most of our other macarons should be eaten within 2-3 days from the date of purchase, our Fleur de Sel macarons are the one exception due their low moisture content. These are still fine to consume after 2-3 weeks.
Timeframe for Deliveries:
Australia Post estimates that the delivery time frame for Regular shipping will be between 2-10 business days depending on the delivery location.
Express Post delivery estimates are as follow (please allow an additional 1–2 business days for us to process and pack your order):
- Victoria: 1–2 business days
- New South Wales: 1–2 business days
- ACT: 1–2 business days
- Queensland: 2–3 business days
- Northern Territory: 3–5 business days
- Western Australia: 3–5 business days
- South Australia: 1–2 business days
- Tasmania: 1–3 business days
The above times are estimations of when your order will arrive however unforeseen circumstances may cause the order to be delayed. Deliveries to remote destinations outside of the Express Post National Network may also be delayed. During peak periods such as Easter and Christmas, shipping times may vary.
International Shipping
Please contact our head office for further information on international shipping prices for our Mariage Frères tea range. We are unable to ship food items internationally.
Special Circumstances
For larger orders or event/corporate orders, please contact our head office so we can provide you with a customised quote for interstate shipping. We are experienced in sending large orders interstate using an alternative transport company.
